| Overview |
Designed to print on both rigid (up to 0.4” (10mm) and roll-to-roll medias, this machine is a perfect solution for printing onto PVC and vinyl. Thanks to breakthrough UV LED curing technology, problems such as drying time, deformation of media and cracking of inks are completely eliminated.
Due to the small droplet size and efficient LED cure lamps, prints are completely dry immediately after leaving the printer, ensuring turnaround times are greatly reduced.
Secondly, UV LEDs unlike traditional metal halide lamps do not cause thermal deformation of PVC or Styrene. UV LED consumes less than half the energy and do not generate ozone or any other VOC’s, which are important considerations for both the operator and the environment.
Thirdly, the newest generation UV inks (available in CMYK) are flexible enough to be used in vehicle graphic applications as well as other applications demanding that the material stretches over curved surfaces. Mimaki UV inks do not emit organic solvents into the air, keeping your workspace environmentally friendly. No special ventilation equipment is required.
Printing quality is adjustable with resolution up to 1200 dpi and variable droplet technology down to 6picoliter. Production modes are also available for larger applications and images viewed at a distance (600 x 600dpi at 129sq.ft/hr. 4 pass).
Most popular applications include banners, vehicle graphics, POS materials, exhibit graphics, displays, coroplast & styrene signs, backlit film, mesh, coated fabrics etc.
